We all have questions sometimes. Let us answer a few.
What holidays are you closed on?
We are closed on our major national holidays and follow local public school closings for all weather-related closings.
What activities do you offer?
Our center offers several activity stations including a reading corner, small toys and manipulatives, dramatic play, arts and crafts, science exploration and a sensory center, as well as a fenced outdoor play area with playground equipment and plenty of space to move around.
What security precautions do you take?
We have specified drill and evacuation plans in the case of natural disasters and are prepared with an emergency kit suitable for the wellbeing of all staff and children for an extended period of time.
On a daily basis, exterior cameras are in use and all doors and windows are secure.
Do you provide healthy snacks and meals?
Our center follows recommended guidelines for children's nutrition by offering a variety of dairy, grains, protein, vegetables and fruit at each mealtime.
What is your child-to-teacher ratio?
We currently have a 7:2 child-to-teacher ratio, providing children with an opportunity to have quality personal interactions with staff members.
Is your center religious-based?
While the owners of Heritage Place are dedicated Christians who openly practice their faith, the children will not be taught religious content and only encouraged to act in an appropriate manner, treating each other with kindness and respect.
